Old Pulteney 18 Years is an official bottling in the distillery's core range, part of The Maritime Malt series. It is a single malt in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV, matured in bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose is intense, with sherry, grapes, red berries, spice, chocolate and a sea breeze. The palate starts fruity, with black cherries, plums and vanilla, then turns drier with spice and minerality. The finish is medium in length, with wood, salinity and chocolate.
