Old Pulteney – 25 Years Old (70cl, 46%)

This is a 25 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Old Pulteney, the distillery known as The Maritime Malt, which was founded by James Henderson in 1826. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was matured in American and Spanish oak casks. The nose shows intense spice with fragrant dark chocolate. On the palate there is bitter chocolate with creamy vanilla and sweet caramel, leading to a long, spicy finish.
