Old Pulteney 25 Years is a single malt Scotch whisky from the distillery in Wick, which the label dates to 1826. It was matured in American oak and then Spanish oak casks, and is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose opens with a salty sea breeze, followed by minerality, apple, herbs and fruit. On the palate there is white pepper, tropical and other fruit, a salty touch and some spice. The finish is medium in length, with vanilla, salt, oak and dried fruit.
