This Old Pulteney is a limited edition from the Coastal Series, the 2022 release, bottled at 46% ABV. The whisky first matured in selected American oak casks. It was then moved into ex-Pineau des Charentes casks, which were handmade from French oak.
The result is described as lighter and sweeter, with a sweetness that sits alongside the salty taste characteristic of Old Pulteney.
