Old Pulteney Harbour is a Highland single malt inspired by the maritime heritage of Wick, in Scotland. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is matured in four types of American oak ex-bourbon cask. Creamy vanilla, bright citrus and tropical fruit sit alongside toffee, gentle oak spice and a subtle salinity.
The nose offers vanilla cream, coconut, orange marmalade, lemon drizzle cake and a little oak spice. On the palate there are tropical fruits, raisins, buttery toffee and a touch of tobacco leaf. The finish is warm and gently lingering, with soft spice and a distinct saltiness.
