Old Pulteney – Pineau des Charentes Cask Coastal Series (70cl)

A limited-edition single malt from Old Pulteney in a 70cl bottle, part of the Coastal Series. It was first matured in American oak casks and then finished in selected French oak casks that previously held Pineau des Charentes. The finish adds layers of sweetness alongside the distillery's salty character. The nose brings honey, vanilla, homemade jam, stewed apples, candied orange, cinnamon, balsamic raisins and black pepper. On the palate come caramelised hazelnuts, ground cinnamon, raisins, orange peel, sea salt and honey.
