A 50 year old single malt bottled by Signatory Vintage for the 50th anniversary of Kirsch Import, which Dieter Kirsch founded in 1976. The cask was chosen jointly by Dieter Kirsch, his son Christoph Kirsch and Andrew Symington, founder of Signatory Vintage. It is bottled at cask strength, 43.3% ABV, without colouring or chill-filtration, in a 70cl bottle. Only 651 bottles were filled. Sherry maturation shapes the character, with maritime, lightly salty notes alongside dried fruit and dark chocolate. Citrus zest and fine mineral touches add freshness, and the sherry sweetness and sea air linger.
