This is a single cask Inchgower from Speyside, aged 12 years and matured in a first-fill sherry cask. It dates from 2011 and is bottled at cask strength under the OLO label of an independent bottler.
The nose is rich, with burnt honey and barley sugar sweets, maraschino cherries and red apple skin beside cigar smoke. The palate is malty, with dark red berries, cherries, cranberries and a little spice. The finish carries more spice and ends on a salty sea note.
