This is a Linkwood single malt from the On The Road series, bottled by Signatory Vintage. It was distilled in October 1984 and bottled in April 1995, having matured in butt number 4035. The label describes it as a Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky, in a 70cl bottle at 40%.
The nose is light, floral and fruity, with cut grass, a touch of peat, honey and a herbal note. The palate is medium-bodied and slightly oily, with honey, toffee and orange marmalade woven into the character of a sherry cask, plus white pepper and nutmeg. The finish is medium to long and clean, with malty sweetness, spice and a dry hint of tannic oak.
