Ondjaba is a triple grain whisky from Namibia, bottled at 51% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The finish takes place in casks that held fortified Chenin Blanc, a liqueur-style wine that resembles Spanish sherry in character.
The nose is sweet, with almonds and toffee alongside cherries and plums. On the palate, sweet smoke meets the fruit of the sherry-style Chenin casks. The finish is long and velvety, with lingering sweetness and a little smoke.
