Onikishi is a Japanese blended whisky made by the Shiki Shuzo Corporation in Hyogo Prefecture and bottled by Milestone Beverages. It is sold in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV, chill-filtered and without added colour.
The style is lightly smoky, with pronounced oak.
The nose opens with heather blossom, oak and ripe lemon. The palate is silky, with sweet honey, vanilla and warm caramel over the spice of smoky cedar wood. The finish is clear, with lingering citrus and a faint trace of oak.
