Onikishi Japanese Blended Malt Whisky (70cl)

Onikishi is a Japanese blended malt whisky in a 70cl bottle, produced in Takacho Town, Taka-gun, in Hyogo Prefecture. It is made in batches. The nose is woody, from white oak, with hints of honey and a myrtle floral scent touched by citrus. The palate opens with a rush of honey and vanilla, then moves to a more robust caramel that coats the mouth, before a warmer cedar smoke in the middle. A kick of yuzu zest ends it, contrasting with the opening sweetness.
