Tenbatsu is a twelve-year-old Japanese blended whisky from the Onikishi range, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It matures in a combination of oak and Japanese Mizunara casks. It has no added colouring and is chill-filtered. Onikishi is among the independent brands handled by Milestone Beverages, a company founded in 2015.
The nose offers light toffee, spiced caramelised fruit, polished wood and vanilla. On the palate, toasted grain, lightly smoked malt, honey and orange spice come together. The finish carries grain, caramel, cedar wood and citrus.
