Orkney 2011/2026 15 Year Old Signatory 100 Proof Edition #83 (70cl, 57.1%)

This is a 15-year-old Orkney single malt, distilled in 2011 and bottled by Signatory Vintage in 2026 as Edition #83 of its 100 Proof series. It was finished in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butts and is bottled at 57.1%, the strength that gives the series its name. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, in a 70cl bottle. The nose is sweet, with heather honey, ripe raisins and orange peel, plus floral notes, vanilla and a light touch of smoke. On the palate it is creamy and sweet, with honey, dark caramel, raisins and dates, balanced by spicy oak and gentle smoke. The finish is long and spicy, with oak, cocoa and a fruity, sherry-like echo.
