Overeem Bourbon Cask Distiller's Strength is a Tasmanian single malt whisky bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is aged in ex-Heaven Hill American oak casks. Overeem was founded in 2005 by Casey Overeem and has been run as a family business since 2019 by Casey's daughter Jane and her husband Mark Sawford.
The nose is bright and fragrant, with coconut, pineapple and grilled banana. On the palate are vanilla, coconut and grilled tropical fruit, with savoury oak spice and a balanced texture. The finish is sweet toffee apple and charred oak.
