Oxford Rye Whisky Batch #4, titled The Graduate, is a rye whisky from The Oxford Artisan Distillery, produced from the 2017 harvest and bottled in 2021 at 51.2% in a 70cl bottle. It is a blend of six American oak casks, numbers 25, 27, 28, 31, 33 and 36, of differing origins, toasts and sizes (130 and 225 litres), matured in different micro-climates. The release came to 1,428 bottles. The nose is floral and herbal, with banana smoothie, stone fruits, marzipan and a hint of smoke. The palate offers gummy bears, honey, apricot, melon and white chocolate, and the finish has butterscotch, mint, muscovado sugar and smoke.
