Palenque Mezcal Gregorio Martinez Espadin (70cl)

A mezcal from Oaxaca, made exclusively from locally grown Espadin agave. The agaves are slowly cooked in traditional stone ovens, then double distilled in copper stills. Burnt wood, aromatic herbs and a mineral note appear on the nose. The palate is soft but vibrant, with a characteristic smoky touch alongside citrus and spice, leading to a long, clean finish. It can be enjoyed neat or with Mexican dishes such as meat tacos and spicy sauces.
