A single malt from Paul John in Goa, India, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is the fifth edition of the limited Christmas Edition series.
The malts are finished in ex-bourbon, brandy and peated Oloroso casks, which give a rich chestnut colour.
The nose has sweet oak, dry spice, and baked apples and peaches with dark chocolate. On the palate come mellow peat, orange dark chocolate and light pepper, with plum cake and butterscotch. The finish is deep, creamy and lingering, with hazelnut.
