Paul John Christmas Edition 2022 is an Indian single malt from Goa, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is the fifth release in the Paul John Christmas Edition series, and the malts were finished in ex-bourbon, brandy and peated Oloroso casks. The colour is a rich chestnut.
The nose is sweet oak and dry spice with baked apples and peaches, lifted by dark chocolate. On the palate there is mellow peat, orange dark chocolate and light pepper, with plum cake and butterscotch. The finish is deep, creamy and long, with hazelnut.
