Paul John – Mithuna Single Malt Whisky (70cl)

Mithuna is an Indian single malt from Paul John, part of the brand's Zodiac series. It takes its name from the Indian counterpart of Gemini, the third sign of the zodiac. It is unpeated and non chill-filtered, matured in American virgin oak casks and finished in ex-bourbon casks. The notes describe liquorice and gentle beeswax on the nose, then ulmo honey on crisp toast with vanilla. Coffee mocha, orange peel and delicate spice follow on the palate, with dark cocoa tones, and the finish is long and complex.
