Peats Beast PX Finish is a single malt whisky with a PX sherry cask finish and a pronounced peat character.
Tasting notes describe damp smoke, peat, TCP and seaweed on the nose, turning to sweet, syrupy burnt sugar from the sherry cask. The palate has a real peat bite wrapped in dates, figs, clove and vanilla, with chocolate, sweet rum and raisin ice cream and burnt caramel. The finish is very long, with the peat fire staying at the back of the throat.
