Phantom of the Clock Tower (Tormore) 15 Year Old (70cl, 57.3%)

Phantom of the Clock Tower is a 15 year old Tormore, a Speyside single malt, bottled by Brave New Spirits for Series 4 of its WhiskyHeroes range. It spent its whole maturation in a refill bourbon barrel and was bottled at a cask strength of 57.3%. Tormore was built in 1958, the first new Scottish distillery of the 20th century, and is known for its granite buildings, copper roofs and clock tower. Tasting notes mention honey, lemon syrup, charcoal biscuits and ashy notes.
