Pig's Nose Small Batch Blended Scotch Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Pig's Nose is a small batch blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle by Ian Macleod Distillers. Malt and grain whiskies are blended, and the blend is matured predominantly in ex-bourbon oak barrels. The name refers to an old saying about something soft and smooth, which is how the whisky is meant to drink. It is amber in the glass. The nose shows grain, light malt and a hint of honey. The palate is creamy, with butterscotch, toffee and vanilla, plus grated orange peel and a little pepper. The finish carries walnut and allspice.
