Pinot Nero Weingut Gottardi Mazzon

This Pinot Nero comes from vineyards in the Bassa Atesina area of Alto Adige, where warm days and cool nights support aromatic development and balanced structure. It has a delicate ruby colour tending towards garnet with age. The nose offers intense red fruit such as cherry and raspberry, enriched by spicy notes of vanilla and black pepper from barrique ageing. On the palate it is seductive and well structured, with soft tannins integrated with fresh acidity and a notable aromatic persistence. It suits refined dishes such as beef fillet, porcini mushroom dishes and aged cheeses.
