Lucente 2023 is a red wine from Tenuta Luce in Montalcino, made by combining Sangiovese and Merlot.
Tenuta Luce was founded in 1995 from the shared vision of Marchese Vittorio Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi. Their sons, Lamberto and Tim, brought the vision to life by blending Sangiovese and Merlot, a first for Montalcino.
The wine shows an intense ruby red colour, with aromas of ripe blackberries and redcurrants plus a fine roasted note. On the palate it is juicy, lively and elegant, with ripe, precisely defined tannins and a long, lasting finish.
