A Tuscan red wine made mainly from Merlot, complemented by Sangiovese. It has a deep ruby colour, with aromas of ripe cherries, plums and dark berry fruit, fine spice notes and a hint of chocolate.
On the palate it balances fruity fullness with elegant tannin structure, the softness of Merlot meeting the lively acidity of Sangiovese. Ageing in barriques adds complexity and a subtle vanilla undertone, with a persistent, smooth finish.
