A Rioja red wine from Bodegas Roda, based mainly on Tempranillo with small amounts of Graciano and Garnacha. The blend varies by vintage. The vineyards lie in north-western Rioja Alta, on limestone, clay and alluvial soils. It shows a medium-bodied wine with a bright red core and red rim. The nose has intense fruity aromas, with red fruit, cherry and cherry stone to the fore and little perceptible oak. The palate has medium volume, fine lively tannins and a harmonious mix of fruit and aromatic herbs, with lasting freshness.
