Pittyvaich – 20 Year Old 1989 (70cl, 57.5%)

This is a 20 year old Pittyvaich, distilled in 1989 and bottled at 57.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited bottling of 6,000. Pittyvaich was built in 1975 as a partner to nearby Dufftown, in the Dullan Glen in Speyside. It drew its process water from the Convalleys and Ballimore springs and closed in 1993 after 18 years of production. The whisky is described as fresh for its age, crisp, clean and grassy, with a sweet-natured character.
