Ali Rosso is a Sangiovese from Podere dell'Angelo, grown organically in Emilia-Romagna. It is deep ruby red in colour.
The nose offers fresh red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, with sweet spice and a light vanilla note from ageing in wood. The palate is balanced, with soft but persistent tannins and pleasant acidity, and an elegant, clean finish.
It suits grilled red meat, aged cheese and wild boar ragù pasta, and is best served at 16-18°C.
