Port Charlotte PAC:01 2011 is an 8-year-old heavily peated Islay single malt from the Cask Exploration series, bottled at 56.1% ABV. It is distilled from Scottish barley. Two parcels of spirit spent at least six years in ex-American oak before moving into red wine casks from the Left Bank of the Gironde, north of Bordeaux. It is described as showing spice and fruit, with a muscular yet round texture and a dry, earthy smoke with a sea-breeze edge.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
