Port Charlotte 10 Years Old is a heavily peated Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, introduced in 2018 as part of a redesign of the range. It replaced the Scottish Barley expression.
It is made from 100% Scottish barley grown in the county of Inverness, with Islay spring water, and peated to 40ppm. Maturation is split between first-fill American whiskey casks (65%), second-fill American whiskey casks (10%) and second-fill French wine casks (25%). It is conceived, distilled, matured and bottled on Islay, and it comes in a green glass bottle.
