PC6 Cuairt-Beatha is the second edition in the Port Charlotte series, a peated Islay single malt distilled in 2001. 18,000 bottles were produced in 2007, at 61.6% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is a vatting of malts matured in former bourbon and Madeira casks. Cuairt-Beatha means "life's journey" in Gaelic, and the release pays tribute to the people who worked on the revival of Bruichladdich and the growth of Port Charlotte. It was issued in five different cases, each showing members of the distillery team. This one shows Duncan and Allan, the distillery managers.
