A 30 year old single grain whisky distilled in 1995 at Port Dundas, the Glasgow distillery that closed in 2010. It matured for three decades in a single bourbon hogshead, cask #64946, and was bottled by Signatory Vintage at a natural cask strength of 55.9% ABV. The cask gave 225 bottles.
The nose is led by vanilla fudge, honeycomb, creme brulee and toasted coconut, with caramel, baked apple and polished oak. The palate moves through toffee, vanilla custard, golden syrup and light tropical fruit, and the finish is long and warming.
