A Port Ellen from Islay, distilled in 1977 and bottled in 1999 by Scott's Selection at a cask strength of 52.5%. This is a 6cl sample of the whisky. The colour is straw. The nose is clean and sharp, flinty and lemony throughout. On the palate come crystallised lemons and lemon marmalade, with some peat and lemon skin, and the finish carries on in the same vein.
