This is an 18 year old Pulteney single malt selected by independent bottler Fruitful Spirits, bottled at a cask strength of 50.3% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in March 2008 and finished in a first-fill Lagrima Red Port barrique. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered, with 281 bottles released.
The finish brings red fruit, cherry and honey notes to the distillery's sea breeze character.
The nose is coastal, with salted caramel, honeyed malt, red berries and polished oak. The palate is syrupy red cherry, grape molasses, brine, beeswax, chocolate and spice. The finish carries salted chocolate, vanilla and gentle spice, with maritime oak that lingers.
