A 20-year-old single malt from Pulteney in the northern Highlands, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength series. It was distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2025 from a single refill sherry butt, number 1680, at 56.9% ABV. The cask gave 534 bottles, with no added colour and no chill-filtration.
The nose offers maritime notes, ripe fruit, vanilla and spicy oak. The palate is full and intense, with caramel, citrus, a little salt and fine wood spice. The finish is long and well balanced.
