This is a lightly peated single malt from the Isle of Raasay distillery, bottled at a natural cask strength of 61.6%. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
It is built from six casks: first-fill ex-Rye whiskey (63%), virgin Chinkapin oak (25%) and first-fill Bordeaux red wine (12%). Peated and unpeated spirit was distilled between May 2019 and December 2021, and the casks were vatted in January 2025.
The nose brings wood smoke, apricots, candied fruit and glace cherries. The palate is sweet spice, cinnamon, black pepper, blackcurrant, heather, honey and salted caramel, with a dry finish, a hint of saltiness and faint smoke.
