Dareringer is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Rabbit Tale, bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The mash bill is 68% corn, 18% wheat and 14% malted barley.
Initial ageing takes place in barrels with an alligator char, the heaviest level of charring. The bourbon is then finished in PX sherry casks from the Casknolia Cooperage in Spain, a step borrowed from Scotch whisky practice.
It has won Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in two consecutive years, and a Gold at the World Whiskies Awards.
