This is a single cask Rampur single malt from Uttar Pradesh in India. It was distilled in 2015, matured for ten years in an American oak bourbon barrel and bottled in 2025 at cask strength, 57% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is neither coloured nor chill-filtered.
The bottling belongs to the Itineraires collection. The label shows the cannon in front of the distillery, a reference to the Indian ceremonial tradition of honouring Uttar Pradesh with a fifteen-gun salute.
The nose is rich yet delicate, with Turkish delight, rose petal, ylang-ylang and a varnish note. The palate is slim and concentrated, with sweet malt, green herbs, candied ginger and ripe mirabelle. The finish is silky, with apricot, hazelnut and honey, and long tropical fruit.
