Rampur – Asava Indian Single Malt Whisky

Rampur Asava is an Indian single malt whisky matured in American bourbon barrels and then finished in Indian Cabernet Sauvignon casks. The red wine casks shape this expression, balancing Rampur's tropical fruit character with oak spice and the dryness of Indian red wine. On the nose there is apricot, blackberry and plum, with a faint hint of tobacco and spices. The palate is velvety, with manuka honey sweetness, spicy oak and vanilla. The finish is of medium length.
