Rampur – Jugalbandi #2 Cask Strength Single Malt Indian Whisky (70cl, 56.3%)

Jugalbandi #2 is a cask strength Indian single malt from Rampur, bottled at 56.3% abv in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is matured in American bourbon barrels in the north Indian climate, then finished in handpicked Calvados casks from Normandy, France. The Calvados finish adds a baked apple aroma, with pear, a hint of apricot and honey. On the nose it is sweet and spicy with malt, and fruity top notes of lychee, mango and a hint of banana. The palate brings dried apple, apricot and raisins, and the finish is long.
