Rampur Jugalbandi #6 is an Indian single malt bottled at 55.8% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American bourbon barrels and then finished in Madeira casks.
The nose opens with lychee, peach, apricot and mango, alongside caramelised pineapple, roasted pecan, shortbread and a touch of cinnamon. On the palate, smooth vanilla leads into fruity, floral and gently spiced flavours, while the Madeira adds dates, plum and dark chocolate. The finish is long and warming.
