Rampur Jugalbandi No. 5 is an Indian single malt bottled at 55.8% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured first in American bourbon barrels and then in Tokaji wine casks.
The nose offers apricot, peach, ripe mango, lychee and pear, with caramel, roasted almond, gingerbread, vanilla, honey and a touch of chocolate. The palate is creamy and sweet, with honey, caramel, vanilla and chocolate, and a thread of oaky bitterness. The finish is long and warm.
