Rampur PX Sherry Cask is an Indian single malt whisky in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited release drawn from 48 casks and is non-chill filtered.
The whisky first matured in American oak. A few casks were then chosen by the malt master and moved into Pedro Ximenez sherry butts from Jerez in Spain for further maturation.
The nose brings toffee, dried fruit and cinnamon, with creamy vanilla and honey behind. The palate is sweet and caramel-rich, layered with spice and a winey texture, and the finish is long with dried fruit.
