Rampur Sangam is a world malt whisky from India, a blend of malts bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It brings together fruity, floral and spicy character from the east with sweet aromas and gentle smokiness from the west.
The nose opens with lychee, green apple, pear and apricot, then citrus, rose and heather, with honey, vanilla, caramel, cinnamon and nutmeg, and a little salt and peat. The palate is creamy and fruity, balanced by peat and salt, and moves into spice and oaky vanilla with a touch of honey and a wine-like texture. The finish is long.
