This Cardhu was distilled in 1973 and bottled in October 2000 at 27 years old, as part of the Rare Malts Selection. It comes in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 60.02% ABV.
Cardhu was run successfully by two generations of pioneering women, Helen and Elizabeth Cumming. They were valued for their determination, skill, generosity and loyalty to the community, and they left Cardhu defined as a whisky with heart.
