A single barrel of Rebel Distiller's Collection Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled in 2024 at 115 proof (56.5% ABV) in a 75cl bottle. The barrel yielded just over 300 bottles. The mash bill is 68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley, making it a wheated bourbon. Rebel is distilled and aged at Lux Row in Bardstown, Kentucky.
The nose has oak, caramel, cherry-heavy dried dark fruit, cocoa, leather and marzipan, with baking spice and coconut. The palate adds corn sweetness, nutmeg, pepper and vanilla. The finish is long, ending in a nutty, oaky profile with a touch of coconut.
