Rebel Small Batch Reserve Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 55%)

Rebel Small Batch Reserve is a Kentucky straight bourbon made by Lux Row Distillers in Bardstown. It is bottled at 55% (110 proof) in a 75cl bottle. The barrels are hand-selected by the distillery's master distiller, John Rempe, and blended into small batches. The mash bill is wheated, following Rebel's recipe from 1849. The nose is typically described as honey, vanilla and caramel. On the palate there is dark fruit, caramel and vanilla, with robust tones from the barrel. The finish is warm, followed by a light spice.
