Redbreast 21 Year Old is a single pot still Irish whiskey, made in a style that reflects the Midleton Distillery tradition. It is bottled at 46% ABV.
The 21 years of ageing add depth to an aromatic, fruity whiskey.
The nose combines fresh tropical fruits, nuts and rich dried fruit. On the palate there is soft vanilla, toasted oak and sherry nuttiness with a dusting of spices, and fleshy fruit adds to a silky mouthfeel. The finish is long, with oak and a range of spices, closing on a note of barley.
