This is a red Vermut di Torino in the Superiore Riserva category from Riserva Carlo Alberto. It is made from two Piedmontese DOCG wines, Erbaluce di Caluso and Moscato d'Asti, with carefully chosen botanicals added.
It can be drunk neat or over ice, and also works in classic vermouth cocktails. Brown in the glass with bright copper reflections, it offers ripe cherry and red berries on the nose, with medicinal herbs and fine spices in the background. The palate is soft and enveloping.
